Come get involved!

The Mary Woodward PSO is the fun group that involves all parents and that does important work supporting our students and staff.  The school year is filled with a wide variety of events, and getting involved is one of the best ways to show your kids how much you prioritize their education.

To learn about current volunteer opportunities or for help completing the registration process below, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator at volunteers@marywoodwardpso.com.

Ready to Volunteer?

Here’s how you can get started.

l

1. Register OR Update Your Information

  • NEW VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION AND BACKGROUND CHECK:
If you’re new to volunteering at Mary Woodward, you’ll need to first register and select your volunteer interests and submit an online background check. This can all be accomplished here. There is no cost for the background check. The application requires that you provide your name, birthdate and driver’s license (or other official ID). Background check information will be confidential between the volunteer and the school district and will not be shared.
  • NEW VOLUNTEER ABUSE AND MISCONDUCT TRAINING:
Once your background check has been approved by the district, you will receive an email asking you to complete a training titled Abuse and Sexual Misconduct Reporting Requirements. Directions to complete this can also be found here. Once you have completed the training, you will email a copy of your certificate to vmadrigal@ttsd.k12.or.us.
  • EXISTING VOLUNTEER UPDATES:
If you’ve already registered as a volunteer in previous years, click here to update your profile and volunteer interests.
  • ADDITIONAL COVID-19 REQUIREMENTS:
Currently all volunteers are also required to provide the district with proof of a Covid-19 vaccination or exemption record. This can be done by filling out this Google Doc and uploading a picture of your vaccination card or exemption document. Religious and Medical exemption forms are available on the TTSD volunteering page. Volunteers who are not vaccinated are required to either wear a mask or take a Covid test at school prior to each volunteering shift.
