After a year of planning, we will be breaking ground on the new bike shelter on Monday, May 21.

The final design includes two awnings that will cover two of the three existing bike racks, and Mary Woodward will be the first school in the district to have covered bike parking!

Construction is expected to last approximately two weeks, and during that time, the bike racks will be fenced off and unavailable.  Temporary bike parking will be located outside the breezeway on the parking-lot side of the building near the portables.  Signs will be posted to make it easy to find.

The final stage of building will occur on Saturday, June 2, when volunteers will finish constructing the shelters.  If you would like to participate in the build party, please save the date and watch for further details.
