Wednesday, February 7 is your next chance to bike or walk to school with a celebrity! Walks depart from the TVF&R Station on Walnut and the Summerlake Dog Park, and this month celebrities will be stationed at both locations.
Our February celebrities are… Tigard Police Bike Patrol Officers!
The Tigard Police Bike Patrol Officers’ goal is to enhance the safety of citizens on the trails throughout the city, and on February 7 we are honored to have them lead our students from both starting locations.
All walking school buses and bike trains will leave for school at 7:40 am. This event will happen rain or shine. If you live outside comfortable walking distance but would still like to join the fun, there are two meeting locations where you can park and then walk or bike with your children.
